I'm a founding member of the Book and Gin Society and its self-elected chairperson, a position nobody has yet found the energy to contest. We started BAGS for a simple reason: to spend time with friends and talk about books.
I read around a hundred books a year and bring only the few that stay with me. I'm one of the select few on the Hard Non-Fiction shelf. As chairperson I look after this site, the shelf and The Minutes, which mainly means making sure that what gets said on the last Friday doesn't get lost.
